This label signals participation as part of the Sister Cities agreements between Wisconsin's Dane County and the Andres Eloy Blanco Municipality, and between the Wisconsin city of Milwaukee and the Torres Municipality, in the state of Lara, Venezuela. The initiative aims to facilitate transnational economic cooperation with focus on fortifying community-led partnerships. The goal is to harness the technology, knowledge base and skill sets unique to each community to build reciprocal relationships that augment the socio-economic and productive capacities of the partners involved.
