5 Ways to use PosiPair

I'm often asked, "What exactly is PosiPair?" Being asked this question means that several times each day I get to describe our wonderful company.

The short answer is, "We're building a website to standardize and compile all the information about the green economy; every eco-label, ingredient list, customer comment, every business and product, and how they're all linked together through the supply chain."

The trick to the "what is PosiPair" question is that we purposely built PosiPair to have maximum usefulness for everyone who interacts with everything in the universe of the green economy, including business owners, customers, non-profit executives, members of green and socially responsible organizations, certification verifiers, activists, etc..

The result? I describe PosiPair a little bit differently each time I respond, depending on who I'm talking to . . .

Positive Green Supply Chain

1) PosiPair is a green business directory.

If you are a green business or sell green products, you should have a profile on PosiPair. It's a quick, free, and easy way to tell the world you're green. It's even better to describe in detail on your PosiPair profile all the changes you have made to improve your business' sustainability.

2) PosiPair is a place to sell and buy green products.

Green businesses and non-profits can set-up a store on their PosiPair profile to sell their sustainable products. If you're looking to buy something and want to find a green version of the product you're seeking, check PosiPair first before you buy through Amazon.

3) PosiPair is a place to find business partners and clients.

If you own a green business, you can use PosiPair to find other green businesses to improve the sustainability of your supply chain, or to sell your green products or services.

4) PosiPair is a place to map out and shorten the green supply chain.

On PosiPair, green businesses and non-profits can "pair" with their suppliers, distributors, service providers and clients. By pairing your business profile to those with whom you do business, you'll show the world not only that you are green, but also that you work with other green businesses. If your business partner isn't listed on PosiPair, you can create a "ghost" profile for them and then pair with that profile.

5) PosiPair is a research tool.

We are gathering hundreds of green certifications and eco-labels on PosiPair. If you don't know what a particular label means, visit PosiPair to check it out. Also, you can use PosiPair to discover what businesses are doing to improve their sustainability.

6) And coming soon: PosiPair will be a place to post what you need from the community!
